Ever wonder who painted this beautiful background image in the iconic movie Sleeping Beauty?            Disney has released never before seen original oil paintings, watercolors, drawings, and sketches from artist, author, and illustrator Eyvind Earle. He painted the settings for such stories as Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, as well as the styling, background and colors for Sleeping Beauty.

The exhibit is only 34 minutes away on the Metrolink at the Forest Lawn Museum in Glendale. We will meet at the Newhall Metrolink Station & ride the train to the Glendale Station. Then walk about 15 minutes to the museum.

Don't forget to bring sunscreen, a hat, & wear a good pair of walking shoes.

Isn't it Beautiful?
