Into comics? Or just looking for a fun, low-pressure book club with less reading? Our Online Graphic Novel Club is a great place to jump in—new faces are always welcome!

This month, we’re diving into Heathen by Natasha Alterici—a fierce, visually stunning story inspired by Norse mythology.

Exiled from her village for kissing another woman, viking warrior, Aydis, sets out to destroy the god-king Odin, and end his oppressive reign. Along the way she is joined by mermaids, immortals, Valkyries, and the talking horse, Saga.

Aydis is a viking, a warrior, an outcast, and a self-proclaimed heathen. Aydis is friend to the talking horse Saga, rescuer of the immortal Valkyrie Brynhild, and battler of demons and fantastic monsters. Aydis is a woman. Born into a time of warfare, suffering, and subjugation of women, she is on a mission to end the oppressive reign of the god-king Odin.

Volume 1 collects issues #1 - #4 of the twelve issue series.

If you are reading the Webtoon, Volume 1 consists of the first 31 episodes.

Women's D&D: The Withering Veils (Saturday, May 09, 2026)

We have started a new in-person, beginner friendly campaign for women only.

Over the years our other D&D campaigns have evolved into including all genders, which is great, but we realize there is need to create a safe space to play and learn game mechanics with other women.

This campaign will run monthly from 6-9pm and will only be open to those that register ahead of time.

New players will always be welcomed, as long as there is room in the event.

If. you don't know how to make a D&D character prior to attending the event, don't worry our DMs will help you!

We will be playing 5th edition D&D. We do have loaner dice sets available to those that need them.

**Premium event - additional $3 fee for this session

Limited to 8 players per session

Please note that this is a women-only event.

We are welcoming and respectful of women, including trans women and those that are nonbinary, gender non-conforming, and any others who identify as a woman in a way that is significant to them.
