Summer is officially here and we want to go to the beach!
We'll be heading to a beach in the Oxnard/Ventura area. There is zero agenda today other than to enjoy the day with your fellow Geek Girls. Don't fret about being beach body ready, there is no body shaming amongst this group. We're all here to just have a good time!
What do you need to bring?
Some suggestions: towel, chair, sunscreen, cooler or money for food (the closest restaurant is Subway)
Other friends or family are more than welcome to join us
If smash ball or some other game is your jam, bring it.
Fair warning the weather will be cool/cold in the morning until the marine layer blows away. Bring a sweatshirt.
Oh! and this beach is dog friendly.
Register so we know to expect you. We will meet in the Geek Girls parking lot, however you will receive information as to where we will be upon registration so you can also just meet us there
The end time will be up to you (some of us have to get back for Knitting)
